Apple Watch questions

Which flight tracker app works on Apple Watch without Wi-Fi?

FlyingOver. Its free Apple Watch app shows your flight's countdown to departure, gate, seat and booking code, time to landing and next connection. Your iPhone sends the flights to the watch before you board, so it keeps working in airplane mode and without Wi-Fi. It works with FlyingOver for iPhone on any Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later.

Is the FlyingOver Apple Watch app free?

Yes. It comes with FlyingOver for iPhone at no extra cost. What the watch shows follows your plan: gate, terminal and delay details, and the flight's Live Activity on your watch, are part of Premium, as on the phone.

Do I need my iPhone with me?

You need FlyingOver on an iPhone paired with your watch, and you add flights on the iPhone. After that, the watch keeps its own copy of your flights, so the countdowns keep running even when your phone is out of reach or offline.

Does it work in airplane mode?

Yes. The watch shows your flights from the copy it already has, so it works without Wi-Fi or a phone signal, like the offline map on your iPhone.

Which Apple Watch models are supported?

You need watchOS 11 or later, on any model that runs it: Apple Watch Series 12, Series 11, Series 10, Series 9, Series 8, Series 7 and Series 6, Apple Watch SE (2nd and 3rd generation), and Apple Watch Ultra, Ultra 2, Ultra 3 and Ultra 4.

Is there a version for Android watches?

Not for now, but we're working to have it soon. Today the watch app is for Apple Watch and works with FlyingOver for iPhone.
